Type locality, off Más a Tierra I. (Ref. 33021). The holotype is the only specimen in collections from Juan Fernández Is., although De Buen (1959a) described another specimen from Selkirk Is., but no specimen is available. It is mentioned as extremely rare by fishermen there (Ref. 89357). Also Ref. 033693. |
